The opening time of the 23th Zigong International Dinosaur Lantern Festival in 2017 is tentatively scheduled to be hold in Zigong City from January 20 to March 10, 2017.From the lantern group creative design work expert review meeting of 23th Zigong International Dinosaur Lantern Festival , it is learned that the lantern groups in this year will consist of a total of 120 sets of lanterns in six major sections, and 55 nodes will be built in outside the park.And this will creating a wonderful " China Lantern City".The lantern festival is expected to be hold in Zigong from January 20th to March 10th, 2017.

It is reported that this Lantern Festival will express the theme of "One Belt One Road", show the strong cultural self-confidence and the pace of inclusive and open progress of New China, and the happy life and spiritual outlook of the Chinese people.The lantern groups in the park includes six sections ,with a total of 120 sets of lanterns,such as colorful new silk road, the most dazzling Chinese style, the beauty of Bashu, the trend of fashion light and shadow, the north-south lantern , and the auspicious Chinese New Year.At present, Zigong has collected more than 400 creative design works of the lantern groups, and the judging will judge the submitted works one by one according to the points.
