Except for the excavation of dinosaur elements by the Zigong Dinosaur Museum and some lanterns and model companies, Zigong has never had an amusement park with dinosaurs as the element.On October 10th, the Zigong Dinosaur Kingdom Project in Dashanpu, Da'an District, Zigong has been stationed in construction for half a year. The foundation construction has basically ended, and it will enter the construction stage of ground facilities and open the park on New Year's Day.By then, Zigong's first dinosaur theme park will officially open its doors to welcome visitors. It is also the second dinosaur theme park in China and the fourth dinosaur theme park in the world.

It is understood that John Ramirez, the designer of the Disney theme park in the United States and the Hello Kitty theme park in Japan, has carefully designed the park with international standards.At the same time, Zhang Lijun, the chief designer of Jinli of Wuhou Temple, and the Hollywood outstanding special effects audio-visual design team also participated in the event to create the "Jurassic World" in Zigong, the land of dinosaurs.
"After visitors come to the Zigong Dinosaur Kingdom, they will not be bored because of waiting in line. The whole park will be randomly interspersed with various wonderful performances."The person in charge also said that there will be wonderful circus show in the park, and a large number of Chinese and Western fairy tale elements will be incorporated. With the role of dinosaurs as the central axis, the story line will runs through the past and the present.It is designed to allow tourists to integrate into the experience, and children can also interact with performer and festooned vehicle and dance with the bees.

According to the relevant person in charge of the Northeast New City Management Committee of Zigong said, the Zigong Dinosaur Kingdom Project is located in the northeastern new city of Dashanpu Town, Da'an District, Zigong City,it close to Zigong Dinosaur Museum and Dongda furniture mall. The project covers an area of more than 120 acres.There are more than 20 entertainment projects in the park. The highlight projects include a ferris wheel with a height of more than 50 meters, a roller coaster with a maximum height of 26 meters, a spinning block and a flume ride.Among them, the Ferris wheel and roller coaster were both built in Zigong for the first time.In addition to the above entertainment facilities, the park combines museums, high-tech sound and light, film and television special effects and multimedia networks, and integrates theme exhibitions, in-depth experiences, animation entertainment, leisure interaction and role performances.
