Recently, the award ceremony of "2017 Chinese Outstanding National Festival" was held in Hulunbuir, Inner Mongolia Autonomous.The Zigong International Dinosaur Lantern Festival won the "Most International Influential" award, and Shen Hongyue, the chief planner of the Zigong International Dinosaur Lantern Festival, won the "2017 Outstanding Solar Terms Figure".

 

It is reported that the "Chinese National Festivals Summit" was founded in 2010 and has been held for six consecutive times.This summit is guided by the the National People’s Committee, hosted by the Chinese Society of Anthropology and Ethnology, the International Festivals Association (IFEA), and undertaken by the National Professional Festivals Committee and the People's Government of the Oroqen Autonomous Banner.Leaders from the National People's Committee, the Ministry of Culture, and the National Tourism Administration attended the event, and nearly 200 representatives from local festival organizations and experts and scholars from all over the country attended.More than 900 festivals from all over the country participated in the appraisal. After online voting and strict evaluation by experts, 49 festivals were finally awarded and 10 festival figures were elected.Zigong International Dinosaur Lantern Festival stood out and won the award.
