July 25,the special symposium on "Zigong City Strengthens the Lantern Industry and Promotes Culture to Go Global" was Held,and heads of relevant departments attended the meeting,such as, Municipal Party Committee Propaganda Department, Municipal Economic and Information Committee and Municipal Tourism Development Committee.The meeting was chaired by Tang Jie, Member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee and Minister of Propaganda Department,Yang Zhiyan, Member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee and Deputy Mayor, attended the meeting and delivered a speech.

 

   As one of the enterprise representatives, Chen Jun, deputy general manager of Zigong Legend Lantern Festival Company, attended the meeting and made valuable suggestions on the development of lantern.He first mentioned that there is an urgent need to cultivate more creative design, management and high-quality workforce, so that the lantern industry can develop and grow more orderly.Then,he mentioned the issues of how to extend the market value and vitality of lantern festival and achieve the annual lantern festival without off-season.Finally, he mentioned that the lantern industry as a cultural and creative industry, there are some irregular use behaviors in the industry, and he put forward discussions and opinions to how to protect and use creative ideas and other issues.At the meeting, heads of relevant municipal departments and enterprise representatives made speeches on further improving the development level of related industries such as lanterns and simulated dinosaurs in Zigong City, and building a national cultural export base.

Yang Zhiyan pointed out that the Zigong lantern industry has a history of more than 800 years, and its production process, reputation, popularity and market share are well-known in the country.We should be soberly aware of the important responsibility for further promoting the development of the lantern industry. It is necessary to accelerate the formulation of industry standards that conform to the laws of industry development, support and train leading enterprises, increase R & D and innovation, and further release the market.Industry departments and enterprises should cooperate, support each other, and coordinate with each other to make the industry bigger and stronger with an attitude of openness, inclusiveness and healthy competition.  

   

Tang Jie emphasized that at present, from the central to the provinces and cities, they attach great importance to the export of cultural products and the development of cultural industries, with unprecedented support.The Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government will speed up the construction of the "National Cultural Export Base" as an important starting point to promote the prosperity and development of the city's cultural industry. We must fully understand the importance and urgency of developing the cultural industry, especially the lantern industry.Relevant departments at the municipal level should earnestly study and judge the industrial format, and provide help for enterprises to grow bigger and stronger.Relevant enterprises should seize opportunities, meet challenges, and speed up development, and help Zigong cultural industry to a new level.
