On February 28, the "Zigong Lantern Festival Hundred Cities Tour" was launched at the first China Lantern Culture Summit.Our city signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Qinhuai District of Nanjing City and Haining City.For the first time, our city advocated and released the Zigong Declaration, a summit with the purpose of "promoting the concentrated and clustered development of various lantern festivals in China, and integrating into the world".

On February 28,Shi Minjia,the Deputy Mayor issued a recommendation word for the "Zigong Lantern Festival Hundred Cities Tour" activity.She introduced that so far this year, 9 companies in our city have signed 33 lantern trades and outreach cooperation projects, 3 lantern product export projects and 2 cultural performing arts projects in 20 countries and regions including the United States, Britain and Italy.Nearly 100 cities in China are interested in cooperating with our city.

Our city also issued the "Declaration of the First China Lantern Culture Summit (Zigong)".In the declaration, our city solemnly promised to continue to give traditional culture the connotation of the times. With creative innovation, new materials, new technology and new visual experience, we will expand the vitality and creativity of lantern culture in many ways, actively expand overseas markets, and make Chinese lantern culture "go out" in great strides.Our city proposes that the national lantern industry should be develop together, support and encourage the early establishment of the "Chinese Lantern Culture Alliance".
