The press conference of the 24th Zigong International Dinosaur Lantern Festival was successfully held on January 22.This lantern festival will be held in Zigong Lantern Park on February 2, 2018.This event was sponsored by the Zigong Municipal People ’s Government and the Sichuan Provincial Department of Culture, and undertaken by the Zigong International Dinosaur Lantern Command.Theme of the lantern festival is Splendid China, carols of joy.The lights inside and outside of the park are shining,the river lights and street lights are blooming brilliantly,it highlighted the sight of the Chinese Lantern City,and demonstrated the spirit of Zigong people. In addition to the local Zigong, it will also light up in 9 cities including Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Shenzhen, Wuhan, Chengdu, Chongqing, Xi'an and Kunming.At that time, the Zigong Lantern Festival in ten city will send a wonderful New Year cultural dinner for the people of the country to celebrate the Spring Festival.
In this year's Lantern Festival, the three sets of lanterns "Blooming flowers", "The best wish by Kylin", and "Through of ages" produced by our company have also entered the final stage of commissioning. The large group-style lantern "Flowers Like Brocade" includes typical characters, architecture, allusions and events in the development of Chinese civilization, showing the splendid demeanor of the flowers of Chinese civilization. "The best wish by Kylin" is made by artificially bonding 3,000 waste optical discs, which embodies the theme of waste utilization and environmental protection. It is the first time in the history of Zigong International Dinosaur Lantern Festival that a large number of waste materials are used to make lantern. The large-scale monolithic lantern "Through of ages" borrowed the concrete elements of the ancient spinning wheel for creative design, showing the wisdom of the Chinese people and demonstrating the elegance of the Silk Road.
