The characteristic lantern group "Tree of life" ,which was designed and produced by Chen Jun who is Deputy General Manager and Artistic Director of Zigong Legend Lantern Festival Co.Ltd.was exhibited at the 16th Zigong International Dinosaur Lantern Festival in 2010.

"Tree of life" was conceived and designed by Mr Chen in 2009. After more than half a year of repeated consideration, modification and improvement, it stood out among the many works of the 16th Zigong International Dinosaur Lantern Festival and won the Outstanding Creative Design Award. In 2015,it was successfully applied for copyright registration certificate.

        "Tree of life" was 66 meters long and had an overall steel frame structure. It was designed with the theme of low carbon, green and environmental protection. It was composed of more than 100,000 pieces of various waste plastic bottles through artistic processing.The 66-meter-long lantern group was all hand-wrapped, and the point light source lighting technology is used to ensure the light transmission. Finally, it was vivid with the careful carving of the lantern craftsman. it was a model of characteristic lantern, and it was also a classic work for watching the scenery during the day and watching the lantern at night!
